Samo nekoliko kilometara od moje kuće u Kijevskoj oblasti živi magija. U naoko strogim radionicama nastaju sjajni božićni ukrasi: kugle i oblikovane igračke. Ovo malo poduzeće započelo je svoj put 1948. godine, proizvodeći medicinske bočice i epruvete. Kasnije se medicinsko staklo počelo koristiti za izradu božićnih ukrasa.
Tvornica ima kolekciju od preko 800 dizajna. Sve se radi ručno, od puhanja kugle do pakiranja. Ovdje se proizvode samo staklene kugle i igračke, a svaku od njih oslikaju neumorne majstorice.
Na području tvornice nalazi se i muzej božićnih ukrasa s velikom kolekcijom eksponata iz cijelog svijeta. A prije rata mogli ste se pridružiti zanimljivom običaju čarobne proizvodnje uz pratnju pravog vilenjaka. Djeca su bila oduševljena. Nakon obilaska, svi koji su htjeli mogli su se pridružiti magiji i oslikati vlastitu božićnu igračku na majstorskoj radionici. Ove godine bajku božićnih ukrasa možete doživjeti u izložbenom centru VDNG.
Na početku punopravne invazije tvornica se našla pod okupacijom. Veliki dio osoblja je otišao. Ali magija živi! Unatoč ratu i isključenjima struje, tvornica radi. Narudžbe se izvršavaju za Ukrajinu i Njemačku, Francusku i Austriju, Italiju, Litvu, Latviju, Gruziju i SAD.

Fragile Magic of Christmas Ornaments from Kyiv Region
Just a few kilometers from my home in Kyiv Oblast, magic lives. In seemingly austere workshops, radiant Christmas ornaments are created: balls and shaped toys. This small enterprise began its journey in 1948, producing medical flasks and test tubes. Later, medical glass began to be used to create Christmas decorations.
The factory’s collection includes over 800 designs. From blowing the ball to packaging, all work is done by hand. Only glass balls and toys are produced here, each of which is painted by tireless craftswomen.
The territory of the enterprise also houses a museum of Christmas decorations with a large collection of exhibits from around the world. And before the war, you could take an interesting tour of the magical production accompanied by a real elf. Children were delighted. After the tour, everyone who wanted to could join the magic and paint their own Christmas toy at a master class. This year, you can experience the fairy tale of Christmas decorations at the expocenter VDNG.
At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the factory found itself under occupation. A large part of the staff left. But the magic lives on! Despite the war and power outages, the enterprise is working. Orders are being fulfilled for Ukraine and Germany, France and Austria, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Georgia, and the USA.
