Zagreb – The Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Gordan Jandroković, extended his condolences to the Cvrtila family upon the death of Mr. Vlatko Cvrtila, stating:
“Dear family,
It was with great sadness that I received the news of the death of Mr. Vlatko Cvrtila, and on behalf of the Croatian Parliament and personally, I extend my sincere condolences.
Throughout his distinguished career, as Rector, Dean, prominent university professor, and excellent expert in international relations and geopolitics, Professor Cvrtila left a significant mark on the Croatian academic community. His expertise and dedication to education remain in the memory of many generations of students, as well as his colleagues.
The public also had the opportunity to get to know him well through frequent media appearances in which his expert analyses of various foreign policy and defense-security issues regularly drew great interest.
Remembering Professor Cvrtila with respect, I once again extend my condolences to you, dear family, as well as to his friends and colleagues.“
