Hrskavi i pikantni “malosolni” ili blago soljeni krastavci – ukras ljetnog stola. Kratka fermentacija obogaćuje okus krastavaca. Blago posoljeni krastavci se ne “sladište” dugo, pa je njihova priprema prilično jednostavna. Za recept odaberite svježe, male krastavce bez žutih mrlja. Probajte!
Sastojci:
- Krastavci 1-1.5 kg
- Kuhinjska sol 2 žlice
- Pitka voda (gazirana) 1 litra
- Crni papar u zrnu, češnjak, čili paprika po ukusu
- Začini: korijen i listovi hrena, cvjetovi kopra, listovi ribiza
Priprema:
- Temeljito operite krastavce i namočite ih u vodi 30 minuta.
- Zelene začine operite i narežite. Što više zelenila, to će krastavci imati zanimljiviji okus. Narežite malo čili paprike.
- Na dno velike staklenke stavite zeleniš, češnjak i papar. Staklenku čvrsto napunite krastavcima. Odozgo dodajte sol i vodu.
- Nakon 2 sata stavite staklenku u hladnjak. Blago soljene krastavce možete probati već nakon 4 sata.

Lightly Salted Cucumbers
Crispy and piquant lightly salted cucumbers are a highlight of the summer table. Short fermentation enriches the flavor of the cucumbers. Lightly salted cucumbers don’t need to be stored for long, so their preparation is quite simple. For this recipe, choose fresh, small cucumbers without yellow spots. Give them a try!
Ingredients:
- Cucumbers 1-1.5 kg
- Table salt 2 tbsp
- Drinking water (sparkled) 1 liter
- Black peppercorns, garlic, chili pepper to taste
- Seasonings: horseradish root and leaves, dill florets, blackcurrant leaves
Preparation:
- Thoroughly wash the cucumbers and soak them in water for 30 minutes.
- Wash and chop the green seasonings. The more greens you use, the more interesting the flavor of the cucumbers will be. Slice a little chili pepper.
- Place the greens, garlic, and pepper at the bottom of a large jar. Pack the jar tightly with cucumbers. Add salt and water on top.
- After 2 hours, place the jar in the refrigerator. You can enjoy the lightly salted cucumbers in as little as 4 hours.
