Ljetno jelo koje se svima sviđa – punjene slatke paprike. Paprike se mogu puniti mljevenim mesom s rižom ili samo rižom s povrćem. Jelo se može dinstati u umaku od rajčice ili u kremastom umaku. I, konačno, djeca koja često ne vole paprike, s užitkom mogu jesti samo nadjev. Velika porcija dinstanih paprika bit će dovoljna za nekoliko dana. Ukusne su s pireom od krumpira, pa čak i hladne. Sastojci:
- Slatke paprike 10-15 komada
- Mljeveno meso po izboru 500 g
- Dimljena slanina 50 g
- Riža 1 čaša
- Luk 2 kom
- Češnjak 3-5 režnjeva
- Mrkva 2 kom
- Koncentrat rajčice 30 g
- Sok od rajčice ili konzervirane rajčice 200 ml
- Sol i papar
- Zeleniš i kiselo vrhnje za posluživanje
Priprema:
- Paprike operite, odrežite vrhove i očistite.
- Rižu skuhajte do pola.
- Luk, mrkvu i češnjak sitno nasjeckajte i pirjajte na ulju. Polovicu smjese i rižu pomiješajte s mljevenim mesom. Sitno nasjeckajte slaninu i dodajte mljevenom mesu za apetitnu aromu. Posolite, popaprite.
- Svaku papriku čvrsto napunite nadjevom od mljevenog mesa i riže te paprike postavite u veliki lonac tako da stoje uspravno.
- Drugi dio luka s mrkvom propirjajte s koncentratom rajčice i rajčicama, posolite. Smjesom prelijte paprike u loncu. Dinstajte najmanje 40 minuta poklopljeno. Po potrebi možete dodati vode. Ova faza se također može izvesti u pećnici.
- Paprike je najbolje poslužiti s kiselim vrhnjem i nasjeckanim zelenilom.

Stuffed Peppers
A summer dish that everyone enjoys – stuffed bell peppers. Peppers can be filled with minced meat and rice, or just rice and vegetables. The dish can be stewed in a tomato or creamy sauce. And finally, children, who often don’t like peppers, can happily eat just the filling. A large portion of stewed peppers will last for several days. They taste great with mashed potatoes and even cold. So, let’s prepare stuffed peppers!
Ingredients:
- Bell peppers 10-15 pieces
- Minced meat of your choice 500 g
- Smoked bacon 50 g
- Rice 1 cup
- Onions 2 pcs
- Garlic 3-5 cloves
- Carrots 2 pcs
- Tomato paste 30 g
- Tomato juice or canned tomatoes 200 ml
- Salt and pepper
- Greens and sour cream for serving
Preparation:
- Wash the peppers, cut off the tops, and take out the seeds.
- Boil the rice until half-cooked.
- Finely chop the onions, carrots, and garlic and sauté them in vegetable oil. Mix half of this sautéed mixture and the rice with the minced meat. Finely chop the bacon and add it to the minced meat for an appetizing aroma. Season with salt and pepper.
- Tightly fill each pepper with the minced meat and rice mixture and arrange the peppers in a large pot so they stand upright.
- Sauté the second part of the onions and carrots with tomato paste and tomatoes, then salt. Pour this mixture over the peppers in the pot. Stew for at least 40 minutes with the lid on. If necessary, you can add water. This step can also be done in the oven.
- Serve the peppers best with sour cream and chopped greens.
