Začinjeno ljuto predjelo od patlidžana ukras je jesenskog stola. Jednostavno se priprema i može se dugo čuvati u hladnjaku. Baka je ovo jelo zvala “Patlidžani na gruzijski način”. A gruzijska kuhinja doista je poznata po mnoštvu aromatičnih, začinjenih i često ljutih jela. Ljutinu ovog jela možete prilagoditi po želji. Predjelo se idealno slaže s mesom i krumpirom.
Sastojci:
- Patlidžan: 2 kom
- Ulje za prženje
- Slatka paprika: 1 kom
- Čili papričica: 1 kom
- Češnjak: 5-6 češnja
- Luk: 0.5 glavice
- Ocat: 25 ml
- Maslinovo ulje: 20 ml
- Sol po ukusu
- Malo šećera
- Mljeveni crni papar
- Zelenje, kopar ili korijander, po želji
Priprema:
- Patlidžane operite i narežite na kolutove. Pržite svaki kolut s obje strane u tavi do zlatne boje.
- Nasjeckajte češnjak, slatku i čili papričicu, luk i zelenje.
- Sve to pomiješajte s octom, šećerom i uljem. Posolite i popaprite. Po želji možete dodati sojin umak, omiljeni ljuti umak.
- Pripremite staklenu posudu ili staklenku.
- Svaki kolut patlidžana umočite u začinjenu smjesu i posložite u posudu. Čvrsto zatvorenu posudu poklopcem stavite u hladnjak. Za dva sata možete probati.

Ingredients:
- Eggplants: 2 pcs
- Oil for frying
- Sweet pepper: 1 pc
- Chili pepper: 1 pc
- Garlic: 5-6 cloves
- Onion: 0.5 head
- Vinegar: 25 ml
- Olive oil: 20 ml
- Salt to taste

Preparation:
- Wash the eggplants and slice them into rings. Fry each ring on both sides in a pan until golden.
- Chop the garlic, sweet and chili peppers, onion, and herbs.
- Mix everything with vinegar, sugar, and oil. Add salt and pepper. You can also add soy sauce or your favorite hot sauce.
- Prepare a glass container or a jar.
- Dip each eggplant ring into the spicy mixture and layer it in the container. Close the tightly filled container with a lid and place it in the refrigerator. You can taste it in two hours.
