Dakle,
Sastojci:
- 300 g svježeg sira
- 1 jaje
- Sol i šećer po ukusu
- 4 žlice brašna
- Džem ili bobičasto voće po ukusu
Priprema:
- U zdjeli pomiješajte svježi sir, sol, šećer i brašno.
- Lijene varenyky treba kuhati u posoljenoj vodi.
Dobar tek!
Lazy varenyky
When you’re short on time but need a nutritious and healthy breakfast, you should try lazy varenyky. Varenyky are a traditional Ukrainian dish made of dough and filling (cottage cheese, potatoes, cabbage, minced meat, peas, or berries). However, making varenyky is quite time-consuming. And we like quick “lazy” recipes, don’t we? So, here you go:
Ingredients:
- 300 g cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- Salt and sugar to taste
- 4 tablespoons of flour
- Jam or berries to taste
Preparation:
- In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, salt, sugar, and flour. The cottage cheese should be dry, so you can press out the liquid before cooking.
- With wet hands, roll small balls from the dough and place them on a floured surface.
- Optionally, you can put berries or a teaspoon of jam in the center of the balls.
- Lazy varenyky should be boiled in salted water. Gently drop the balls into the boiling water. They are fully cooked when they float to the surface.
- It’s best to serve the dish warm, with the addition of butter, sour cream or berries, honey, or jam.
Smachnogo! Bon appétit!
