U proljeće i ljeto hladna juha je vrlo popularna. U Ukrajini se okroška priprema s kvasom, sirutkom, kefirom ili mineralnom vodom. Okus ove juhe je vrlo varijabilan. Okroška se može pripremiti samo s povrćem: s krumpirom, krastavcima, rotkvicama i zelenjem. A možete koristiti i meso, kobasicu, šunku. Probajte!
Sastojci:
Krumpir 3-4 kom
Jaja 4-6 kom
Svježi krastavci 2-3 kom
Zeleni luk
Svježi kopar
Pileća prsa kuhana (kuhana kobasica) 400 gr
Sirutka 2 l
Kiselo vrhnje 100-120 ml
Sol po ukusu
Sok od limuna po ukusu
Svježi češnjak i senf po ukusu
Priprema:
Krumpir, prsa, jaja skuhati i ohladiti.
Sve sastojke narezati na kockice, dodati sitno nasjeckano zelenje i pomiješati s kiselim vrhnjem u velikom loncu.
Zaliti sve sirutkom. Posoliti po ukusu. Za jači okus možete dodati žličicu limunovog soka. Prije posluživanja možete obogatiti okus okroške s malo senfa ili iscijediti malo češnjaka. Dobro se slaže s tamnim kruhom.

Okroshka: Cold Soup
In spring and summer, cold soup is very popular. In Ukraine, okroshka is prepared with kvas, whey, kefir, or mineral water. The taste of this soup is highly variable. Okroshka can be made only with vegetables: with potatoes, cucumbers, radishes, and greens. Or you can use meat, sausage, or ham. Give it a try!
Ingredients:
Potatoes 3-4 pcs
Eggs 4-6 pcs
Fresh cucumbers 2-3 pcs
Green onion
Fresh dill
Boiled chicken breast (or cooked sausage) 400 g
Whey 2 L
Sour cream 100-120 ml
Salt to taste
Lemon juice to taste
Fresh garlic and mustard to taste
Preparation:
Boil the potatoes, chicken breast, and eggs, then cool them.
Dice all ingredients, add finely chopped greens, and mix with sour cream in a large pot.
Pour whey over everything. Salt to taste. You can add a spoonful of lemon juice for a brighter flavor. Before serving, you can enrich the taste of okroshka with a pinch of mustard or a little pressed garlic. It tastes great with dark bread.
